Getting her on the wet food should really help with her over all digestion. If she hasn't been chewing up her kibbles, keep a watch on her mouth..older kitties can have serious tooth decay and they are unable to chew the hard kibbles. Tooth decay can also cause overall illness. LOL...the little ones usually act like they Never get fed!! I’m so happy kittie is much better. I just had to put my comment though in case you ran into this situation again. My only experience with vomiting cats was when I accidentally gave my cat too much chicken when he was young. It turns out if cats have too much protein it turns a response on in their bodies that then doesn't automatically shut off. It causes vomiting and yet they're very thirsty and drink alot of water which is why I mention it because I read that part in your description. So just good to know in case they ever get into something they shouldn't. I’m a few days late on this and hugely relieved Jelly’s feeling better. Moist food is so much easier for the older crowd to digest....mine is 16. If she isn't used to the moist food, just give her a spoonfull at first as her system may need to get used to it. I will also moisten Kjersten's kibbles to help with the chewing and digestion. Much longer than street kitties have if they stay on the street. I'm glad she's feeling better. Our 16yr old kitty has kidney disease and switching her to a food special for this problem has worked wonders so far. A trip to the vet should help you figure out what's going on.
